My passion to become a Personal Trainer began in 2000 when I had a severe accident coming off my horse. This crushed the nerves in my right knee and Doctors told me I would never walk again, let alone run.
With the help of three synthetic nerve blocks in my lower lumber region, I started to slowly walk again. It was in this time I came to see that people would often use injury as a reason not to exercise, and I vowed that I would never do that.
Beginning to walk again, and slowly improving my fitness changed not only the way I felt about myself, but also the way I looked at life. I am now strong, confident and very passionate about life, and it is this outlook that I wish to impart onto others.
Teaching people how to improve their fitness, better their nutrition, lose weight, gain strength and confidence or exercise while recovering from injury are just some of the reasons I became a Personal Trainer. The other reason is the satisfaction; motivation and joy that I feel within myself from watching my clients work hard under my guidance and achieve their goals.
